Green knelt down to the Pokemon which had taken a sudden interest in his shoes, “Do you battle with it?” He asked gesturing to the water-type Pokemon. The Gym Leader scanned the Pokemon intently, searching for any signs of possible battle prowess.

“Nah, Kip’s just my travelling buddy,” Kure explained as Kip stared back at Green, curious as to why he was being studied. With a quick upward motion, Kip balanced on his hind legs and placed his paws onto Green’s face. Taking no notice of this, Kure continued, ”Why do you ask?”
